About Wisconsin White Sand, LLC

Wisconsin White Sand, LLC (WWS) is a vertically integrated mining company based in Tomah, Wisconsin, specializing in the production and delivery of high-purity Northern White Sand. Since our founding in 2007, we have been committed to providing reliable, high-quality silica solutions to a broad range of industrial and energy markets across North America.

Our sand is trusted for its superior strength, roundness, and sphericity—critical qualities for hydraulic fracturing, filtration, glass manufacturing, ceramics, and construction applications. At WWS, quality is not a feature—it’s a foundation.

An expansive open-pit mine stretches across a wide landscape with large trenches and piles of earth. Sparse vegetation can be seen at the edges, and heavy machinery is visible within the excavation area. The horizon is lined with hills and patches of green, indicating surrounding forest or fields.

Heavy machinery operates on a large-scale mining site. Excavators and dump trucks are moving earth and materials, surrounded by rocky terrain and steep slopes. The equipment is primarily yellow and orange, indicating industrial use, and work is being actively carried out to extract resources.
